Luxottica Presents Emporio Armani Eyewear Launched in the 1980s, Emporio Armani the was first segment of the Giorgio Armani brand to open a retail store, and in the ensuing years has grown to 171 Emporio Armani stores. Offering men’s and women’s fashions with earthy and sleek details, the Emporio Armani Eyewear collection is launching with Luxottica. True to the concept of “impeccable, but always youthful and fresh, Emporio Armani style,” the collection includes ophthalmic and sunwear offerings for men and women in an extensive color range where more sober hues are joined by lighthearted and lively pastel and metallic tints and mirrored lenses. When it comes to shapes, the new eyewear collection includes a distinctive round shape that resurfaced in fresh interpretations for the brand since the ’80s. Marchon’s Dragon Alliance Adds Men’s Rx Collection
Dragon Alliance, a leading force in the action sports eyewear and goggle category, has announced the debut of its first ophthalmic collection, playing off of its Southern California roots and history as a brand catering to the active youth lifestyle market.
This Rx release marks new territory for Dragon. Using athlete-inspired design as a driving force for creating new product, the ophthalmic eyewear for men is created for the sophisticated consumer with a passion for action sports.
Dragon’s Rx line is launching in conjunction with the brand’s 20th anniversary, debuting 14 optical styles in colorways including Tokyo tort, matte black, oxblood, and bark. The custom-milled metal hinges with a hidden Dragon emblem stamped on the inside of the hinge provide a splash of color. All frames come with a red suede-lined case with embossed Dragon branding atop the closure button.
