SILHOUETTE LAUNCHES TITAN NEW WAVE COLLECTION
Silhoutte’s latest, the Titan New Wave Collection, integrates eyewear innovation and aesthetic purity with flexible titanium construction and invisible technology. Dynamic yet subtle, the styles feature a lens mounted using a pioneering integrated nylon thread technology developed by Silhouette. A nylon thread is drawn through the inside of the top bar with maximum precision for a truly minimalist mounting and highly functional design (permanent hold with no screws). Moreover, the ergonomically shaped top bar conforms harmoniously to the natural form of the eyebrows and face.
Titan New Wave continues Silhouette’s commitment to ongoing innovation, exceptional design values, and the systematic exploration of new materials, company representatives note. Designed by Gerhard Fuchs, who also created the Minimal Art, this model employs Silhouette’s signature rimless, hingeless, and near-weightless qualities for unrestricted vision and optimum wearing comfort. Resilient and futuristic, constructed from highly flexible advanced titanium, the New Wave styles offer perspective in any situation and are ideal for the active, demanding urban lifestyle. There are two models available in four colors.

SUNGLASSES ADDED TO MODO PAPER THIN TITANIUM COLLECTION
Following the success of Modo’s Paper Thin ophthalmic collection, the Soho, NY-based independent eyewear company is adding five sun designs to the ultra-thin titanium assortment. Modo Paper Thin sunglasses feature lenses that incorporate high chromatic definition technology (HCD). These high-performance lenses are polycarbonate, polarized, anti-reflective, and anti-smudge.
With superior optical quality, the HCD technology creates less stress on the eyes, increases visual acuity, and provides a faster reaction time for users when wearing them during activities. The semi-flash mirror embodies an AR coating to prevent glare as well as a hydrophobic coating to reduce marks.
The new launch is an expansion of the brand’s P-T line, and includes modified retro and aviator styles. Each model comes in four colors. The new collection features three men’s styles, one unisex, and one women’s frame.
The women’s frame is a retro-inspired style with a rounded cat-eye shape that gives a modern, elegant look. Colors include black, tortoise, aqua, and dark purple. The unisex sun option is an aviator with a comfortable and durable frame that features teardrop lenses. The men’s models are rectangular aviators that provide a structured look and feel.
The sun collection embodies the brand’s vision of minimalistic and flexible eyewear, representatives say.
