SEIKO OPTICAL PRODUCTS
Seiko Superior
{SPECTACLE LENSES}
GETTING PERSONAL
Seiko Optical Products of America has launched its most advanced and precisely customized, dual-patented, 100 percent internal free-form design—Seiko Superior. The lens has three unique designs that are optimized to meet the patient’s lifestyle: Superior B for outstanding balance, Superior N for comfortable near vision, and Superior F for clear far vision.
Once the design is chosen, ECPs can choose from 11 corridor lengths (8mm to 18mm), accommodating nearly every size and frame shape. Superior also offers 51 options for the near zone inset and 21 options for the pantoscopic tilt to completely personalize the lens. Superior is available in a variety of materials and coatings with add powers from +0.50 to +4.00 (8mm and 9mm to +3.00). The Superior design also processes convex curves onto the concave back surface of the lens, permitting the use of flatter base curves on plus power prescriptions.

ESSILOR OF AMERICA
Varilux Comfort Enhanced Fit digital lenses
{SPECTACLE LENSES}
ENHANCED FIT
Essilor of America has added a new, personalized progressive lens to its Varilux Comfort family of lenses. The new Varilux Comfort Enhanced Fit digital lenses allow the lens design to be optimized through use of personalized frame wearing measurements (pantoscopic tilt, wrap angle, and vertex distance). The lenses minimize unnatural head movement when reading, provide comfortable transitions at all distances, reduce peripheral distortion to expand visual fields throughout the lens, and offer design elements on both sides of the lens through Varilux DualOptix digital surfacing.
For the most accurate fit, the lenses can be measured using the Varilux Fit tool, Visioffice system, or the m’eyeFit digital measuring system.
