In the second quarter of 2014, Essilor will continue to drive awareness of prescription sunwear and the benefits of its Xperio UV lenses via a consumer advertising campaign consisting of TV, radio, print, online, and social media channels. To further support ECPs, Essilor is offering a consumer display to help incorporate updated Xperio UV promotional and educational materials within the practice.

CAPSULE COLLECTION
At Vision Expo East, Altair Eyewear is set to debut bebe Black, an elevated capsule collection with a greater emphasis on stones, studs, and fashion-forward shapes. To support the launch, which includes three sunglasses and four ophthalmic frames, Altair has released new campaign imagery as well as a number of in-store promotional items for ECPs, including a one-piece display, a six-piece display, and a mirror.

Carl Zeiss Vision has released a consumer-oriented infographic designed to increase awareness of the symptoms of digital eye strain to a broad range of media outlets. To date, the infographic has been picked up by numerous publications with more than 26 million in combined readership.
ECPs are encouraged to share the infographic to help educate their patients and local communities about the effects of digital device use. It can be downloaded at the company’s website.

IN THE CLEAR
ClearVision Optical is debuting new styles to its popular Cole Haan eyewear collection. To help ECPs promote the brand, ClearVision offers new, modern, and consumer-friendly merchandising materials, including a double-sided banner and five-piece display.
