TEEN DREAMS
To bolster the promotion of its newest launch of Kilter Eyewear designed for today’s teens, Altair is offering a number of P.O.P. elements—including a three-piece display, a counter cube, and posters. Each of the elements prominently features Kilter’s signature “K” logo. The P.O.P. is available with a minimum 18-piece buy-in.
The launch features five ophthalmic pieces (two for boys, two for girls, one unisex) for ages 12 to 18. The collection offers a mix of acetate and plastic/metal styles, each with the K logo on the temple.

BONGO GIRL
Marcolin USA/Viva has announced that Vanessa Hudgens is continuing her role as the Bongo girl in the Bongo Eyewear campaigns, and has released a countercard and 30”x56” banner featuring the young actress.
There are two new Bongo styles for fall: B Nia, a vintage-inspired rectangle acetate with splashes of glitter; and B Talia, a semi-rimless highlighted by an exotic cluster of stones.
Hudgens is pictured on both the poster and banner wearing B Nia in red.
Both the banner and the poster are available free to dispensers upon request.

SPORTS SAFETY
Prevent Blindness has declared September as Sports Safety Awareness month to educate Americans about the risk of eye injury in sports, and to promote the importance of eye protection. The organization has teamed with Liberty Sport to provide ECPs with free information and materials to help spread the message to patients. The material—much of which can be used throughout the year—includes fact sheets, posters, flyers, window banners, and more. Prevent Blindness has also created a web page with free information on proper sports protection.

{TIP OF THE MONTH}
“Don’t limit your visual displays to four themes a year (spring, summer, fall, winter). Try to employ at least six themes a year if you can. This gives you the flexibility to change every other month.”
