MARCOLIN’S EMILIO PUCCI EYEWEAR COLLECTION HITS THE RUNWAY
Emilio Pucci presents its new eyewear collection for the fall-winter 2015/16 season, produced and distributed by Marcolin and including sunglasses and ophthalmic frames.
Brightly colored prints—a trademark of the fashion house—bring the eyewear models to life, exploring the possibilities of refined nuances and daring color contrasts. Butterfly, for example, is a new print whose design evokes the movement of a butterfly against a stylized background. Or the archive’s Zadig, made up of irregular segments that together create a vortex. Other patterns include Flower Power, Ribbon, and Peonia, with its large, soft-lined flower set against a block-color background. The new collection takes the prints into eyewear with exciting materials, architectonic details, and tinted or mirrored lenses.

FUN IN THE SUN
SAFILO’S FENDI AND THIERRY LASRY PRESENT CAPSULE COLLECTION
Fendi and French designer Thierry Lasry have created a capsule collection inspired by graphic designs from the late ’80s and early ’90s that Silvia Venturini Fendi and Thierry Lasry selected from the Fendi archives. Playing with the Graphism and Dualism signatures, the result was the sunglasses Fanny and Sylvy. The ultra-feminine shapes evoke a strong, sensual, and elegant woman, company representatives note. The style names are inspired by the Dolce Vita period in Rome and show Thierry Lasry’s signature touch. In addition, the style names have the last letter a “Y”—the final letters of the designer’s name and surname—inside the temples.
Fanny, a cat-eye, and Sylvy, a square shape, are sunglasses created in two color variations in 8mm acetate that enables play between all the material layers while getting a special translucent effect and depth.
Frames come in a pouch with a cubist pattern.

FGX Optical presents Corinne McCormack ophthalmic frames. Seen as a logical extension of her brand, which has been focused on high-quality reading glasses in high-end department stores for the last 20 years, the modern eyewear collection offers perfect fit, color, and style for the fashionable woman.
The collection contains 21 different styles (60 SKUs in total) in a variety of fashion-forward colors in metals, handmade zyls, and combinations. The zyls include exclusive signature patterns, and all styles include European spring hinges. The collection has been built to have an important fit story, and includes three petite styles and three luxury-fit styles that are generously proportioned for women seeking bolder fashion shapes.
