SAFILO LAUNCHES BOBBI BROWN’S
LIFEGUARD EYEWEAR COLLECTION
Bobbi Brown, makeup artist and founder/chief creative officer of Bobbi Brown Professional Cosmetics Inc., debuts her new Lifeguard Eyewear Collection for Spring/Summer 2015 from Safilo.
Featuring three sun styles and two ophthalmic models, the Lifeguard grouping rolls out beachy chic looks for women. Models in the subcollection include metals, acetates, and combination styles. The lenses on the sun models pull their inspiration from water, sand, and sky with cosmetic color looks that include gradient finishes in brown and gray, as well as mirrored options in bronze, blue, and silver.
Details on the styles include the eyewear brand’s dedicated “B” hinge on some of the temples and face-flattering shapes, including aviators for square faces and oversized rectangles for round or oval faces.

SILHOUETTE UNVEILS TITAN ONE COLLECTION
The Titan ONE Signature Collection from Silhouette is the culmination of over 50 years of research and development, high-quality materials, and attention to aesthetics. Titan ONE embodies Silhouette design: no screws, no hinges, and flexibility. Weighing in at 3.24 grams, the lenses are attached screwlessly at one point. Temples and the bridge are made of a single piece of high-tech titanium.
“When ‘traveling’ through the Titan ONE, you would see that the profile of the high-tech titanium wire changes 10 times over the course—precisely so that the eyewear fits perfectly everywhere, becoming one with the wearer,” says Rupert Spindelbalker, head of research and development at Silhouette in Linz, Austria.

MARCHON SERVES UP
Life is a beautiful sport this season as Marchon introduces the Lacoste LT12 collection. Lacoste has reinvented the traditional tennis racket by combining wood and graphite in its LT12 racket, produced as a limited edition of 650 numbered pieces.
To accompany the launch of the LT12, Lacoste has designed a capsule collection—including a bag, t-shirt, a watch in steel and silicon, and glasses in acetate—that encompasses the aesthetics of tradition and innovation.
The L781S is available in four colors—polarized black, blue, red, and white—all with piping in contrasting tones. Lightweight and comfortable, this acetate model features subtle contrasting colored piping that encompasses the well-known features of the brand’s DNA. Three world-renowned tennis players—John Isner, Pablo Andujar, and Jeremy Chardy—are promoting the launch by wearing the new Lacoste L781S sunglasses in the P.O.S. materials.
