REM Eyewear is expanding its SPINE collection for men with six new styles that offer performance, fit, and sleek styling. Featuring a patented micro-injection-metal (MiM) hinge-and-cable system, SPINE gives gadget-friendly men a hinge that flexes in all directions but still holds the frame firmly in place. The hinge allows the temples to shut automatically when the frame is removed from the face.

The new styles include SP2009, with a metal front and acetate temples; SP5001, an acetate rectangle silhouette; SP5002, a classic square with gradient acetate coloration; SP5004, a retro acetate round; SP5005, a classic square; and SP6001, semi-rimless with a metal front and acetate temples. SIGNATURE STYLE

Carolina Herrera debuts a new sunwear style in a classic, elegant silhouette for Fall/Winter 2015, SHE602. Made of acetate and aimed at the fashion market, this style comes in four variations: white-brown/brown (shown, 3GF); red-white/gradient brown (9LB); black-white/gradient grey (700); and brown Havana/gradient brown (743). The large round shape, contrasting colored temples, and high-end metal detailing give this sunwear style an updated retro vibe. ClearVision has expanded its BCBGMAXAZRIA line with four youth-inspired styles. With shapes such as cat-eyes and wayfarers, the new styles feature a 3D printing technique on the temples that creates the look of exotic animal leathers, such as python or lizard, in a variety of color variations.

The Audra (pictured) is a sexy cat-eye with a python-inspired temple design, available in teal blue, and wine. Gloria is semi-rimless with lizard-inspired temples and contrasting front and temple colors, available in coffee and black. Harper is a classic rectangle with python-patterned temples, in wine and brown. WEARABLE ART

The newest addition to Blake Kuwahara’s exclusive line of ophthalmic eyewear, the Chambers frame (pictured) is constructed of block cellulose acetate and is offered in the color Oyster. Kuwahara’s signature brand, with both ophthalmic and sunwear styles, encapsulates his singular design vision, which he defines as a “mashup of my colliding aesthetics with special attention to sculpting and tactility.” Chambers follows the lead of his previous frames, the result of laborious production techniques and handwork, which have created an inner silhouette encased in an outer one—a seamless fusion of two frames with contrasting form and color. The result is a modern but familiar design that is edgy but wearable.
