The (Frame) Name Game
aspire Eyewear from ClearVision is hosting a frame-naming contest to encourage engagement with the brand on social media. Eyecare professionals and consumers are invited to submit names for one of the next Aspire frames, to be released in fall 2016.
One winner will receive his or her choice of a frame from the existing collection and the winning named frame, when available. The winner will be selected by a team of Aspire judges.
Submissions are accepted on the Facebook page (facebook.com/AspireEyewear) and via Instagram (tag @Aspire_Eyewear) and Twitter (tag @AspireEyewear) using the hashtag #AspireToBe, or by email at facebook@cvoptical.com.

WILEY X ON THE WEB
Wiley X has redesigned its website to provide new content and organization, as well as a fresh new look. Visitors can peruse the Wiley X premium Rx-ready sunglass line by series, or click directly to the WorkSight, Youth Force, and Tactical eyewear sections.
The site also has a revamped dealer locator search function, making it easier for visitors to find Wiley X retailers.

WEBINARS PLANNED
Primary Eyecare Network (PEN), a division of ABB Optical Group, will host a monthly webinar series focused on human resources and issues common in the optometry industry. The series is free for PEN members and $15 per webinar for non-members.
The next webinar will be held May 18, on Family Medical Leave Act policies.

Live-Streaming Optical Show
Block Business Group has launched “VisionLive,” live-streaming programming on the Internet for the eyecare industry. The program is broadcast on Wednesdays at 8 a.m. ET.
“VisionLive” is hosted by Block’s director of business development, Erik Liljegren, along with Gayle Gurchiek, a veteran optical consultant. Michael Block, president of Block Business Group, will provide industry analysis and commentary, and conduct featured interviews. The program will feature relevant, actionable information and best practices for ECPs.
