Project Runway’s Rock Star

erin Robertson has an eye for fashion. Starring as a contestant on the current season of Lifetime’s “Project Runway,” Robertson was the champion of the Transitions lenses challenge, conquering the task of creating a runway-worthy piece that dazzled under black lights as well as in daylight.

The Cambridge, MA, resident is also a “Project Runway” fan favorite, and some have projected she’ll be the season winner. The finale airs Dec. 22 at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime. Here, Robertson dishes on her own eyewear plus working with fashion moguls like Tim Gunn.

On her eyewear…
Wearing glasses every day isn’t something I think about anymore. It’s really this extension of my body. I like to get a new pair every few years to update my look.

On the “Project Runway” Transitions Challenge…
Transitions was such a great inspiration for this challenge, and I love how it inspired everyone so differently. I think the garment itself was the biggest takeaway.

To be myself. Tim is there to make sure you’re being you. I love him for that.
