Costa Sunglasses introduces Motu, its newest model of Rx-able sunwear. Motu is made from a bio-based resin sourced from the perennial castor plant. This resin is nearly indestructible and produces increased durability and shape retention under extreme temperature conditions in both heat and cold.

In using this bio-based resin, Daytona Beach, FL-based Costa is able to reduce its manufacturing process emissions by 40% and reduce its overall carbon footprint.

Motu offers a medium fit for wearers and is offered in four frame colors: Blackout, Matte Retro Tortoise, Realtree Xtra Camo, and Matte Black Teak. Six Rx-able, polarized lens options (in glass or plastic) allow for a variety of lighting conditions and outdoor activities—ranging from low light (dawn) to extremely bright light. SWITCH IT UP

IZOD Interchangeable from ClearVision Optical introduces four new acetate styles with TR-90 temples that can be switched out with a simple click. Each frame is sold with a particular temple color plus an additional two temple colors of the customer’s choosing, giving three looks with a single purchase. Eight temple color choices are available in mix-and-match bold colors and tortoises.

The 3D-printed temple-locking system has a slim profile, and frame front colors include choices for both men and women and feature laminates, tortoises, and fades.
