THE NEWEST EYEWEAR FROM AROUND THE GLOBE
A MATCH MADE IN ITALY
A French-Italian brand known for producing luxurious, mountain-inspired outerwear, Moncler is presenting an exclusive collection of six branded sunglass models under a licensing agreement with Marcolin. This select grouping of Moncler Lunettes is now available worldwide at Moncler boutiques, exclusive department stores, concept stores, and select opticians.
“This partnership enables us to target those consumers who are looking for a distinctive, valuable, and Made in Italy product through an accurate and extremely selected distribution in order to emphasize the exclusivity that is the core of the collection,” says Giovanni Zoppas, CEO of Marcolin Group, headquartered in Italy.
Founded in 1952, Moncler crafts outerwear collections that fuse style with technology and “marry the extreme demands of nature with those of city life.” Moncler Lunettes adhere to the same design ethos, with top-quality materials and a merging of aesthetic functionality and technology with the iconic design elements of the brand’s timeless style.
The initial sunglass collection includes classic ’70s ski goggle shapes (styles ML0001 and ML0002) and removable leather shields (ML0003 and ML0004), and the soft volumes of the two acetate styles (ML0005 and ML0006) nod to the airy effect of the down jacket—an iconic element of the Moncler brand. Suggested retail pricing is $260 to $560.
