CAMERA READY
PogoTec Introduces Eyewear-Ready Wearable Camera
PogoTec offers a new profit center for eyecare professionals with PogoCam, a wearable HD camera that attaches magnetically to almost any frame via the PogoLoop universal adapter. Three PogoLoops are included with each purchase.
An ideal alternative to “bulky, one-size-fits-all frames that have a camera permanently built in,” says the company, the PogoCam is smaller than a tube of lip balm (weighing less than two dimes) and captures the wearer’s unique point of view through photos and video.
With PogoTec’s smart case (included with every PogoCam purchase), wearers can easily charge the device and also transfer captured footage to smart phones or tablets via Bluetooth and the free PogoCam iOS and Android app.
Suggested retail pricing is $149.

TO THE MARKET: “PogoCam takes up to 100 photos or six 30-second videos with audio with its 5-megapixel sensor and focus-free optics. The pocket-sized smart case included with every PogoCam purchase complements the camera with additional memory and battery power. It can store 16,000 photos or 90 minutes of video and recharge the camera three times when traveling.”
