SUBVERSIVE STYLE
The legendary eyewear label Christian Roth has debuted a stunning new collection with DITA Group. Since its inception in 1983, Christian Roth has excelled in its passion for subverting the conventions of luxury fashion.
The new collection, from designers Christian Roth and Eric Domege, is a design review that surveys the brand’s extensive body of work—all while deconstructing that work to begin a conversation with a new generation of consumers who crave a refreshed paradigm of style and design.
Designers Roth and Domege have more than three decades of creative experience—Christian Roth sunglasses first appeared on the runway at Karl Lagerfeld’s 1985 resort presentation. After that, the designers were tapped to create custom frames for fashion shows of heavyweights such as Chloé, Helmut Lang, and Jean Paul Gaultier. In 1990, Christian Roth was invited to join the CFDA (Council of Fashion Designers of America)—a first for an eyewear designer—and he is now a founding executive member of the Eyewear Designers of the CFDA (edCFDA).
Christian Roth continues to serve up stunning, subversive style directions through its debut collection with DITA Group, which offers nine sunwear models and five optical models. Pictured is Rock 'N Roth (color code: 00008). It is also offered in Black/Ivory/Amber and Brown Glitter/Ivory/Pink Glitter.
The suggested retail price range for the Christian Roth collection is $250 to $500.
