Specs’ gorgeous new game-changing technology delivers high on form + function

New manufacturing techniques are giving eyewear an added edge to deliver over-the-top designs never achievable before—think intricate, 3D-printed frame fronts and high-wrap, full-coverage (and high fashion) shields.

Tech surprises come to the fore in specs, too, with a fresh focus on sun lenses—from multicolor layered looks to embedded glitter and lenses that reveal a secret image when breathed upon. And, wearables that are smaller than ever before (and attachable to nearly any optical or sunglass frame) are making the category even more relevant to eyecare professionals today.
