Carrera takes another step in its collaboration with Academy Award-winning actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars musical frontman Jared Leto with the INSPIRED BY JARED LETO Carrera collection from Safilo.
The two-piece unisex collection features one optical style (CARRERA 144/V) and one sun style (CARRERA 150/S) inspired by Leto’s persona and passion for well-crafted design.
“I’ve always appreciated beautiful craftsmanship and timeless design,” says Leto. “Match that with functionality and technology and you have something very special. I think all of that is reflected in Carrera—a classic and iconic brand.”
The styles offer a ’60s-retro aesthetic with classic rectangular silhouettes. The sun style (pictured) features a thin metal bridge and is available with UV protect or premium Red HD polarized lenses.
Leto appears in the styles in the Fall/Winter ad campaign, which was shot by esteemed photographer Terry Richardson.

ClearVision Optical unveils Op PogoTrack camera-ready eyewear. The release is ClearVision's most advanced technology product to date, as the collection features the PogoTrack wearable technology platform.
Designed by PogoTec, a technology firm based out of Roanoke, VA, the PogoTrack works as a universal platform for a range of future electronic wearables—including the PogoCam, the world’s smallest/lightest camera that attaches to eyewear, capturing photographs and high-definition video with audio.
