◄ Bollé Brands Group has promoted Myrosha Daley from within the company to vice president, head of specialty sales for the North American region. Taylor Toussaint has been named as e-commerce director for North America. Peter Moore joins the company as senior vice president, finance and operations for North America. Daley has 20 years of experience in sales and marketing roles, including seven years working for Spy+ and Bollé Brands. Toussaint brings more than 15 years of digital marketing and e-commerce experience to the company. Moore joins the team from Birkenstock, where he served as CFO/COO since 2016.
◄ Nancy Keir, O.D., Ph.D., FBCLA, FAAO, has been appointed senior director of life cycle management for CooperVision. In this role, she is responsible for developing long-range strategic plans to drive market-leading growth while ensuring timely delivery of new products to meet customer and market requirements. Dr. Keir joined CooperVision in 2013, most recently serving as the senior director of program and biological sciences for the company’s research and development leadership team.
◄ Alex Wilkes has been appointed as president of the Americas of CooperVision. Having most recently served as senior vice president and general manager of Pearle Vision at Luxottica, Wilkes joins the company with more than a decade of experience.
Hilco Vision has named Brent Jones as the global head of dry eye and general manager of Bruder Healthcare. Jones brings 30 years of experience from companies including I-MED Pharma USA, Eyevance Pharmaceuticals, Sun Pharma, Bausch + Lomb, and ISTA Pharmaceuticals.
The Vision Council has appointed Sara Bonizio as the director of shows, where she will work closely with the organizers of Vision Expo on its growth and development. Most recently, Bonizio was the vice president of communications and partnerships for the Bronx Chamber of Commerce.

The OneSight EssilorLuxottica Foundation has announced the renewal of its partnership with Walman Optical, continuing into the fourth year of the Kids with a Vision program. The program has raised $300,000 since its launch in 2019, and Walman Optical has committed to donating $150,000 this year.

For the third time in five years, the Centre for Ocular Research & Education (CORE) and McDougall Communications received a Public Relations Society of America Silver Anvil Award for their efforts to raise awareness about mask-associated dry eye, as well as identifying steps to alleviate the discomfort.
Eyefinity from VSP Vision has achieved full accreditation from the Electronic Healthcare Network Accreditation Commission’s Healthcare Network Accreditation Program for its electronic health network platform. The accreditation program recognizes excellence in health data processing and assurances relating to compliance with industry standards and HIPAA regulations.
Sheila Nirenberg, Ph.D., is the recipient of the Lighthouse Guild’s 2022 Bressler Prize for her outstanding advances in vision science, including deciphering the retina’s neural code—the key to restoring vision in people who are blind from retinal degeneration. Dr. Nirenberg is currently the Nanette Laitman Professor in neurology and neuroscience and a professor of computational neuroscience at the Institute for Computational Biomedicine, Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
