ESSILOR
Essilor’s Varilux X Series is the company’s most advanced lens design, equipped with proprietary Nanoptix and Xtend technologies to address two common issues progressive lens wearers experience: feeling off-balance and searching to find the right spot through the lens to see sharply.
Powered by Flex Optim technology, the Varilux Comfort Max is a progressive addition lens designed to stretch a wearer’s useful vision zone by up to 46%, according to Essilor.
For new and young presbyopic patients, the Varilux Liberty 3.0 lens is an introductory progressive lens design that, according to the company, offers all-in-one balanced vision and enhanced first-time progressive lens experience.

Hoya’s iD MyStyle 2 incorporates patient lifestyle parameters into the lens prescription, which is then verified with Hoya’s patented Binocular Eye Model and 3D visual acuity simulation. iD MyStyle 2 utilizes the company’s patented Integrated Double Surface Design technology and Binocular Harmonization Technology, which ensures that both eyes receive equal support, shares Hoya.
Additionally, Hoya shares that the iD LifeStyle 3 design features these technologies and is available in three wearer profile variations: indoor, which places emphasis on near-vision focus; urban, which delivers equal focus on all main vision areas; and outdoor, which primarily focuses on distance.
