Next-Gen Style
ClearVision Optical unveils Demi + Dash, an extension of its popular Dilli Dalli brand.
Demi + Dash is the byproduct of a recent ClearVision survey of hundreds of eyecare professionals to pinpoint what ECPs think is missing from children's eyewear. The result: Demi + Dash, housing style-focused, comfortable frames for children ages 7 to 12 with special attention to the styles’ bridge and nose flair. The vibrant styles are for kids and tweens who are growing out of their pediatric frames and starting to develop their own sense of style.
Demi + Dash encompasses two subcollections: the Flexys, which are flexible, easily adjustable, and sport-inspired frames in TR-90; and the 180s, which are frames that strike a balance of style and durability with hinges that allow the temples to flex 180 degrees.
Sustainable DNA
The latest Quiksilver Sustainable eyewear collection from Mondottica USA highlights the brand’s appreciation for the great outdoors.
Mondottica shares that frames in the collection are made of an environmentally friendly acetate material that is free of traditional plasticizers and an increased use of components from cotton and wood.
The collection’s colorways include nature-inspired sandy browns, mossy greens, and deep-sea blues.

Sight For Sport
Article One, part of The Optical Foundry, has launched its Active x Optical line for prescription wearers.
“We are so thrilled to launch a true athletic transfer collection that is adaptive to active lifestyles in both styling and technical innovation,” says Article One founder Wes Stoody.
Frames in the Active x Optical assortment feature GKM, a polymer plastic proprietary to Article One’s family-owned factory partners in Northern Italy. Article One shares that when compared with acetate, GKM is lighter, more flexible, and stronger in scratch resistance and allows for enhanced shape memory.
Frames in this optical assortment house specifically developed nose pads for added grip and adjustability. Spring hinges and engraved ridges on the temple tips also aid in grip and comfort.
