As the optical manager at North Country Eye Care in West Lebanon, NH, Miranda Potter, ABOC, CPOA, hopes to stay rooted in patient care while expanding a brand that engages kids, unites communities, and sparks meaningful dialogues far beyond the exam room.
That was the impetus behind “Spectacular Friends,” a coloring book series she authored and created, “built on those everyday moments when kids realized glasses could be fun, stylish, and part of who they are,” she says. Her inspiration is “seeing how much kids love their glasses when the choice is truly theirs—so much that they can’t wait to come back and choose again.”
With more than 16 years of experience in the optical industry, Potter is the past president of the New Hampshire Paraoptometric Association and a former commissioner on the American Optometric Association’s Commission on Paraoptometric Certification.
Here, she dishes on creativity, confidence, and coffee.
