Jan. 18, 2022 — IDOC and Three Rivers Optical have announced that the two companies will merge to provide a suite of practice enhancement and lab services to eyecare professionals.
 
With a shared mission to support the success of independent eyecare practices, the combined companies will continue operating in the marketplace under their existing names.
 
“Offering lab services through Three Rivers Optical is the perfect complement to IDOC’s existing best-in-class vendor programs, consulting, peer-to-peer networking, practice accounting, marketing, human resources, and inventory management services,” says IDOC COO Oliver Spandow.
 
Representing the second generation of family ownership, Steve Seibert and Mary Ann Zappas will continue to lead Three Rivers Optical, which operates in a 30,000+-square-foot facility in Pittsburgh, PA. Further details of the merger have not yet been disclosed.
