April 13, 2023 — The developer and retailer of smart eyewear for Lucyd, Nautica, and Eddie Bauer, Innovative Eyewear has announced the launch of a new app that enables a voice interface with ChatGPT through the company’s smart eyewear.
 
With the Luycd app, users can ask questions to ChatGPT through the microphones built into the company’s glasses and hear the responses through their stereo speakers, enabling users to speak and listen hands-free. However, the app is device agnostic and works with other hearables in addition to smartphones.
