Nov. 21, 2023 — Marcolin has announced a new session of its Leadership Academy, which launched in 2021 to converge individual and corporate goals.
 
For its third run, Leadership Academy will host a session dedicated to women’s leadership with a focus on the “integration of soft skills enhancement modules dedicated to women’s leadership,” encouraging future managers to guide others with equity and inclusiveness in mind.
 
Marcolin’s Leadership Academy comprises 10 meetings held separately between November 2023 and February 2024, each focused on skills and values that make up the company’s leadership model—such as adaptability, practicality, responsibility, and belonging. The opening ceremony took place in Venice and featured a tour of the Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute and the Punta della Dogana.
 
Marcolin shares that 57% of its employees are women, 43% of whom are senior managers. Last year, Marcolin was named “Best Employers for Women” in the eyewear industry by the German ITQF Institute, which honored the top 360 companies in Italy.
