May 19, 2023 — Optometry Divas, a network of women in optometry in the U.S., has announced its expansion into four new cities: Boston, San Antonio, New York, and Los Angeles.
 
Founded in 2015 with the mission of empowering, connecting, and promoting women optometrists nationwide, Optometry Divas provides resources to women optometrists in support of their businesses and personal careers.
 
The organization offers a variety of professional development services, and events include regional dinners and an annual educational retreat comprising panel discussions, fellowship activities, and continuing education opportunities over the course of a weekend.
 
"By growing our number of chapters, we are not only expanding our organization but also the reach of our message," says Lauretta Justin, O.D. "We believe that by supporting and empowering women in the field, we can help to elevate the entire profession and create a more diverse and inclusive place to practice.”
