Aug. 3, 2023 — VSP Vision’s iCare Health Solutions has announced its acquisition of Optical Outlets, a Florida-based optometric retailer with 56 locations, more than 550 employees, and a full-service optical manufacturing laboratory.
 
“[This acquisition] further strengthens our presence in the region and our ability to offer more choice to our members and health plan partners requesting more diversified options for care that deliver best-in-class outcomes,” says iCare Health Solutions CEO Lee Stern.
 
Optical Outlets’s management team will continue in their roles under the newly named general manager Ron Amster, who joined the company after serving as vice president of store growth and real estate operations at Visionworks.
