ABB Optical Group has named six finalists for its 11th Annual Optometry Student Challenge, a competition recognizing innovative research from optometry students nationwide. The finalists will present their scientific posters during a live webinar Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. ET, where attendees and judges will help determine the winners.
Three students will each receive a $1,500 travel grant to present their work at the 2026 Global Specialty Lens Symposium, set to take place Jan. 7-10 in Las Vegas.
"These students have put their hearts into creating thoughtful contact lens cases, and it's truly inspiring to see,” says Dede Reyes, FCLSA, director of consultation and education for ABB Optical Group. “Please come out and support these future optometrists by casting your vote on December 11.”
Webinar registration is available here.
