The Accessories Council has revealed the recipients of its 2025 Design Excellence Awards, recognizing standout achievements across eyewear, jewelry, handbags, footwear, and other accessory categories.
Here are the winners in the eyewear category:
Modo Eyewear’s 5002 for Independent Optical
State Eyewear Co.’s Vivian for Multi-Brand Optical
Selima x Nico’s Le Matt for Independent Sun
Barton Perreira’s Auriol for Multi-Brand Sun
Swarovski was inducted into the Hall of Fame, while Baggallini’s Soho Backpack earned the Circana Growth Driver honor. This year’s Brand Collaboration Award went to Cove Fine Jewelry for the Wequassett Centennial Ring.
Additional category winners ranged from Melinda Maria’s Baby Love Letter Medallion Necklace for Fashion Jewelry Under $100 to Jane Win Jewelry’s 14K Pink Tourmaline Quatrefoil Coin Pendant for Fine Jewelry Over $1,000. Footwear honors went to Cole Haan’s Felicia Bow Pumps (Under $250) and Veronica Beard’s Tarian Boot (Over $250), while Vera Bradley’s Large Original Duffel Bag received the General Accessories award.
Other recognitions included the First Nations Award for Atikuss’s Coyote Trimmed Mittens; sustainability honors for Mela’s Luna in Zest; the Social Impact Award for Able x Leigh Ann Barnes’ Revival Bag; and the Tech & Innovation award for Hulken’s Original Rolling Tote Bag. Handbag winners included 8 Other Reasons’ Dixie Tote Bag (Under $1,000) and a tie between Rafe New York’s Azura Minaudière and Siena Wolf’s No. 14 Shoulder Bag (Over $1,000).
