Zeiss Vision Care has appointed Gary Rosenblum as president and CEO. Formerly president of Oticon US and with prior leadership roles at Demant, Johnson & Johnson, Abbott, and Pfizer, Rosenblum succeeds Jens Boy, who will leave the company on June 30 after more than a decade leading the North American business. Rosenblum will focus on expanding the company’s operations in the U.S.

Safilo Group has renewed its global licensing agreement for the design, manufacturing, and distribution of Carolina Herrera-branded eyewear through 2031. The collaboration began in 2022.

VSP Ventures and the UC Berkeley Herbert Wertheim School of Optometry and Vision Science have named Monica Thu Do, class of 2027, as the recipient of the 2025 Dr. Craig Hisaka Memorial Scholarship. In honor of the founding OD of Brookside Optometric Group (now a VSP Ventures practice), the annual $2,500 award recognizes a student who participated in the VSP Business Management Immersion Program and submitted an essay about the experience.
