Jan. 30, 2025 — Registration is now open for the 2025 Optometry’s Meeting and the 5th World Congress of Optometry, scheduled for June 25-28 at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Organized by the American Optometric Association (AOA), American Optometric Student Association (AOSA), and World Council of Optometry (WCO), the event will bring together optometric professionals from around the world for education, policy discussions, and networking.
The meeting will feature more than 300 hours of continuing education sessions, workshops, and professional development opportunities. Optometrists and paraoptometrics can earn up to 36 credits. Optometry’s Meeting will provide a platform for discussions on global eye health, with a focus on advocacy, education, and patient care. The WCO will host sessions aimed at expanding universal access to vision care. An exhibit hall will feature business solutions and practice resources.
The event will also include the AOA House of Delegates, where leaders in the field will discuss governance issues and industry developments.
