Jan. 8, 2025 — The annual Rock4Sight charity concert is set to take place at the Hard Rock Café in Orlando, FL, on Feb. 21 from 8:30-11:30 p.m. Volunteer musicians from the optical industry will perform a mix of rock, metal, country, and R&B to raise funds for ECN Purpose, a nonprofit focused on expanding access to vision care for underserved communities.
The event, themed "Changes in Latitude with a Rock & Roll Attitude," marks the first time Rock4Sight will be held in Orlando after years at the Hard Rock Café in New York City. Tickets cost $75 and include light food and nonalcoholic drinks, with additional food and drinks available for purchase. Proceeds will support ECN Purpose’s mobile services, including eyewear distribution to those in need.
“These annual fundraising concerts have been a blessing. We have thoroughly enjoyed combining a fundraising event with a marvelous evening of entertainment with our optical industry friends,” says ECN Purpose founder and CEO Aspasia Shappet. “The net proceeds from the last three years have enabled us to significantly increase the number of people in optical need that we serve. We feel so grateful and indebted to the event organizers, performers, and sponsors.”
The concert will take place at 6050 Universal Blvd., in the CityWalk entertainment complex at Universal Studios Orlando. All ages are welcome, and ticket purchases are tax-deductible.
