
Silmo Istanbul, the international optical trade show, will return to the Istanbul Expo Center Nov. 19-22, gathering eyecare professionals from Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia.
Positioned as a key business and knowledge platform, Silmo Istanbul will feature a robust exhibitor lineup and a range of events under the theme “Everything About Eyewear.” The event aims to foster collaboration, highlight innovation, and support both domestic manufacturers seeking global opportunities and international brands entering the regional market.
Among the event’s highlights, the Silmo Award Istanbul will recognize achievements in design, technology, sustainability, innovation, and customer experience.
Featuring an expanded program this year, Silmo Istanbul Akademik will offer seminars and panels led by local and international experts on topics such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and sustainability. Dedicated sessions for young professionals and opticianry students will also be included to encourage professional development.
Additionally, the Silmo Next area, comprising the Futurology and Trends Forum spaces, will explore emerging trends and technologies in eyewear design. Exhibits will include thematic collections, virtual reality applications, and sustainable product innovations that reflect the industry’s creative and technological evolution.
