The Italian Trade Agency (ITA), in collaboration with the Italian Optical Manufacturers Association (ANFAO), will present “Reflections – Italian Eyewear Exhibit” on March 4 at the IAC Building in New York City. The event will run from 2 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a cocktail reception, and will offer optical retailers, industry press, and professionals a preview of select Italian eyewear brands exhibiting during NYC Eyewear Design Week.
“In a market saturated by volume, 'Reflections' showcases the Italian alternative: a triumph of quality over mass production,” said Eric Di Giovoncarlo, director of ITA New York. “We are offering American retailers more than just products; we are providing a partnership rooted in a transparent, vertically integrated supply chain that ensures superior durability and precision—the ultimate assets for the discerning US consumer.”
According to ITA and ANFAO, the exhibit is intended to serve as a preview platform connecting US retailers with Italian manufacturers through product presentations and networking opportunities, offering a gallery-style space where attendees can view collections up close, connect with brand representatives, and explore emerging trends influencing the global eyewear market. The initiative is part of a broader effort to strengthen commercial ties between Italian eyewear producers and the US market and to increase the visibility of Italian brands in North America. Participating brand partners will be announced at a later date.
The event is open to members of the optical community, including retailers and media.
