The Loft Eyewear Shows New York event will take place March 5-7 at 2 venues along West 28th Street in the Chelsea/Hudson Yards district of New York City. The event marks the 26th year of Loft, an independent luxury eyewear show that has been held annually since 2000.
Organizers expect the New York edition to feature more than 150 eyewear collections, representing independent brands from across North America and abroad. The show will be held at the Chelsea Industrial space, which hosted the event in 2025, with an additional nearby venue added this year at High Line Nine, located approximately 100 yards away.
“We understood last year that we would have to grow our show to provide a viable and purposeful reason for all attendees to visit NYC for an eyewear event. We added vendors on the lens/lab side of the market as well as CE in 2025 and we are really excited to be expanding both of those areas this year,” said Loft Eyewear Shows Founder Richard Mewha. “With the debut of our pioneering event Eyewear Design Week, we encouraged other showrooms to coordinate to give our visitors a range of venues and events to attend.”
Loft 2026 will again include continuing education programming, which has expanded since its introduction in 2025. Complimentary CE courses will be offered throughout the event, with programming provided by the Opticians Alliance of New York and Kayla Ashlee of Spexy. Educational sessions will take place daily at the Chelsea Industrial location, and attendees will be able to schedule appointments and CE classes online through the Loft website.
The show will also serve as a central component of the second annual Eyewear Design Week in New York, an initiative that coordinates multiple eyewear-related events and showroom experiences across the city. In addition to Loft, participating events during Eyewear Design Week include activities at the Kering Eyewear and Thélios showrooms, the Eyecon event, and programming at the Marcolin showroom.
Loft Eyewear Shows are known for their boutique format, emphasizing direct interaction between eyewear designers and optical professionals in a relaxed setting. A social event, the Loft Party, is scheduled for Friday, March 6, at the Chelsea Industrial venue, with ticket details to be announced closer to the event.
Loft Eyewear Shows New York will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, March 5-7.
